IT Application Support 20O25

We are seeking a dedicated IT Application Support specialist to join our team and provide exceptional technical support to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring seamless user experiences. You will work closely with the development team, end-users, and other IT professionals to identify any technical gaps and improve application performance. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for all application-related issues and queries from end-users.
• Identify, document, and report application bugs or issues to the development team promptly.
• Develop and maintain user manuals and technical documentation for various applications.
• Collaborate with the IT team to install, configure, and test new application versions.
• Monitor application performance and conduct regular system audits to ensure stability.
• Assist in the design and implementation of IT application upgrades and enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their application needs and concerns.
• Ensure that all applications comply with data protection and security standards.
• Train and support users to maximize system capabilities and application proficiency.
• Investigate and resolve any interfacing issues between different IT systems and applications.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers to address application support needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in application support or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT applications and software development life cycles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficient in using database management systems, including SQL and Oracle.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
