You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards.
How You Will Contribute
You will:
- Provide training on CI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS)
- Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS
- Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps
- Establish new work standards to sustain improvement
- Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities

- CI and high-performance work systems experience
- Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities
- Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment
- Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems
- Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
- Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process
- Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data

PURPOSE OF JOB:
IL6S Champion is important member of IL6S function, playing role in system, task, and work processes to drive IL6S culture in organization by developing zero loss mindset and driving 100% employee engagement. Responsible for enabling data collection, its accuracy and maintaining departmental & plant KPI scorecard across (SQCDSM) targets. (Quality Cost Delivery Safety Sustainability Morale)
- Develop the IL6S (Lean Six Sigma) plans for the Plant Roadmap
- Drive the whole organisation to the usage IL6S tools to come to quicker, data based business decisions
- Train & coach people TPM/ IL6S ways of working.
What you need to know about this position:
Responsibilities
- Provide training on TPM / IL6S tools & techniques across the organization.
- Supports and coaches the implementation of Integrated Lean 6 sigma, through a servant leadership approach and builds the capability on the core (production) teams
- Masters Focus Improvement tools, leads and contributes to projects that will reduce losses.
- Support the Line Leader/Section Manager to deliver the SQCDSM targets of the line(s) and ensure process stability.
- Maintain periodic KPI, scorecard for the plant. Act as a custodian for digital data tool (Solvace).
- Facilitate problem solving, root cause analysis (RCA). Collaborate with the team members to identify & resolving the issues.
- Live safety and quality as a value acting like a model for the team
- Support the Line Leader/Section Manager developing a loss eradication mind-set and culture within the core team, starting from loss analysis
- Never accept poor standards, challenge the status quo and empower others to do the same
- Participate in the DMS meetings and help in data collection, data analysis and root cause analysis to put in place a loss prevention system
- Lead the Focus improvement activities on the Line(s)/Section and act as a champion on IL6S work processes.
- Build the capability of the line team on IL6S work processes, encourage the core teams involvement with passion and energy.
- Role model servant leadership by working directly with the line(s) team to achieve more

Education / Certifications:
BE/ B.tech
Job specific requirements:
5+ years of work experience in TPM, TQM, Operational Excellence
Expert in TPM methodology.
Six Sigma or equivalent Certification
