Basic plastic rules, basic mechanicals rules, able to build and check product under CAD software system ; able to lead CAD 3D and 2D activities ;
Missions
- Missions
- KPI and/or main deliverables
- Constructs parts and products using CAD software, in accordance with POAE methodology and customer specifications.
- Manages CAD files, and exchanges with suppliers and customers.
- 3D/2D data
- Desig n s and draws technical solutions (sketches, sections, partial models, global models, overall dimensions, tooling/assembly kinematics)
- Generate s the CAD files in accordance with POAE CAD methodology and CAD specifications of both customer and POAE.
- Verifies CAD file quality by utilizing specific customer file checkers used by customer tools to check CAD file quality .
- Manage s CAD files flow.
- Name s the CAD files in TDM in accordance with the rules defined by POAE.
- Update s parts attributes in PDM (volume, theoretical weight, projected area, painted area).
- Update s models based on technical feasibility studies.
- Use s the PO Design Standard library, TESIS, during the design & construction of CAD models, and provides feedback to EPM and Design Leader.
- Perform s various checks on his 3D models to ensure good quality of the final product (interferences by DMU checks, A-surface analysis of visible parts…)
- Work s closely with EPM / Design Leader and extended teams (Tooling Expert Department, CAE Engineer, Moldflow Engineer, etc…).
- Participate s in integrating new CAD Engineers.
