Junior Interior Designer (225-620)

We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts that meet client needs and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with the senior design team to create mood boards and presentations.
• Prepare design sketches and space planning layouts under the guidance of senior designers.
• Help in selecting materials, furnishings, and color palettes that complement design plans.
• Visit project sites to take measurements and assess existing spaces for design implementation.
• Ensure design plans adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain and organize project files, design documentation, and sample libraries efficiently.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and product information.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules and timelines for design tasks.
• Participate in client meetings to present designs and gather feedback effectively.
• Stay updated with new interior design trends, products, and best practices.
• Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is required.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills for developing initial design concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Basic understanding of color theory, materials, and furnishing specifications.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Some experience or internship in interior design or related fields is preferred.
