Job Title: Automation QA Lead (Individual Contributor)

Experience: 10 to 14 years

Overview

We are seeking a visionary Automation QA Lead to drive excellence in software quality engineering. This role demands a proactive, innovative, and technically adept individual who thrives in fast-paced environments spanning multiple platforms, architectures, and cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate will lead automation efforts that leverage AI-driven technologies, intelligent quality strategies, and next-generation frameworks to elevate product quality while minimizing the Cost of Quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Quality Leadership
    • Champion “Quality at Speed” by integrating intelligent automation into agile workflows to ensure rapid yet reliable delivery.
    • Foster innovation in quality engineering through predictive analytics and data-driven risk mitigation strategies.
    • Design and implement enterprise-level test strategies aligned with business goals and technical roadmaps.
  • Automation Excellence
    • Lead the enhancement and optimization of existing automation suites using cutting-edge tools and frameworks.
    • Ensure early and frequent execution of automated tests to provide rapid feedback and accelerate development cycles.
    • Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback loops and automation demos.
  • Technical Execution
    • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to design testable applications and scalable automation solutions.
    • Resolve complex technical issues, anticipate risks, and escalate appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging automation technologies.
  • Process Optimization
    • Monitor and report goal-based metrics across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
    • Guarantee compliance with automation frameworks, standards, and best practices.
    • Lead efforts to integrate AI and machine learning into quality processes for smarter defect detection and prevention.
Required Skills & Expertise

  • Automation Tools & Languages: Java, Selenium, Lean FT, BDD (Cucumber/JBehave), TestNG, Eclipse/IntelliJ
  • Platforms & Technologies: SQL, NoSQL, Unix/Linux, Windows, RESTful APIs, Web Services, Mainframe
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
  • Frameworks: Data Quality frameworks, predictive analytics models
  • Domain Knowledge: Financial services domain expertise is essential
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, strategic foresight, excellent communication, and stakeholder management
