Associate Data Engineer

What You Will Do

• Build a highly functional and efficient Big Data platform that brings together data from disparate sources and allow FinThrive to design and run complex algorithms providing insights to Healthcare business operations.
• Build ETL Data Pipelines in Azure Cloud using Azure ADF, Databricks and PySpark ,
• Build Data Ingestion Pipelines in Azure. Ingest data from flat files and Database Tables
• Partner with internal business, product and technical teams to analyze complex requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in development, automation and maintenance of application code to ensure consistency, quality, reliability, scalability and system performance.
• Deliver data and software solutions working on Agile delivery teams
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Bachelors degree in Computer science or a related discipline
• 3+ years of data engineering in an enterprise environment
• Strong SQL experience. Able to tune SQL queries.
• Strong experience with at least one programming language. Python Preferred.
• 2+ years of experience writing production code in Python, PySpark or Scala.
• Experience with Big Data technologies in the Azure Cloud or Hadoop ecosystem, such as Spark, Hive, Azure Datafactory, Unity Catalog and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with databricks delta lake Kafka , Spark Streaming and Batch and Real Time processing will be a plus.
• Any experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, AbInitio or DataStage will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning LLM and Building models or any experience with AI tools will be a plus.
• Experience working with git and CI/CD tools
• Proven background in Distributed Computing, ETL development, and large-scale data processing
  
  

What We Would Like To See

• Healthcare experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Proficiency in Bash shell scripting or Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Any experience with Azure ADF, Azure Databricks.
• Any experience with SQL Server.
• Knowledge and passion for software development – including software architecture, functional and non-functional aspects.
