About The Role

A Driven and results-oriented Senior Solutions Architect with specialized expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a self-motivated professional with robust experience in SAP development and configuration, particularly within demand planning, supply chain/logistics, and sales & operations domains. The ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, along with a solid grasp of SAP best practices, will be essential to delivering value. You are expected to stay updated with the latest SAP IBP innovations and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that planning processes remain agile, data-driven, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You Will Do

• Provide subject matter expertise in supply chain planning systems, including demand/supply planning, sales and operations planning, and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
• Develop, support, and document a broad range of supply chain processes, procedures, and systems—primarily within IBP planning and its integrated modules.
• Configure applications and offer functional oversight of standard IBP tool procedures.
• Bring a global perspective and the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization, with a talent for creatively solving business problems through technology solutions and process improvements.
• Lead project threads and initiatives to deploy new functionality or enhance existing capabilities in IBP and SAP ECC/S/4HANA Supply Chain modules.
• Support and influence application architecture in IBP and S/4 SCM, while driving business process changes where needed.
• Set expectations within the area of responsibility by establishing priorities and documenting potential scope changes that may impact project budgets.
• Partner with in-house development teams to coordinate cross-functional resource allocation for support projects, change orders, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate SAP technical information in clear, non-technical terms to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Follow procedures to monitor and report on the SAP team’s performance by measuring customer satisfaction, preparing progress reports, and providing weekly status updates.
• Collaborate with senior IT leadership to establish new processes and improve existing ones.
• Drive accountability and continuous process improvement within the IBP tool.
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• 6 + years of experience in SAP APO, IBP, or similar planning tools, specializing in Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Over 2 full-cycle SAP IBP implementation experiences focused on Demand and Supply Planning.
• Hands-on experience in configuring the IBP module for Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Response, including the ability to debug complex key figure calculations and correlate them with business processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP IBP configurations, including sample Planning Areas for time-series and order-series data models, statistical tools, operators, profiles, parameters, and engines.
• Skilled in reverse engineering to understand HARMAN’s SAP IBP processes and build future change requests.
• Assists in project management, implementation planning, and test strategy development.
• Supports and enhances IBP activities and processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Works with external business partners as needed.
• Solid hands-on experience with data integration tools such as SDI, CPI-DS, and BW.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC modules—PP, MM, and SD—and their integration with IBP.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously and driving them to completion.
  
  

What Is Nice To Have

• Holds a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficient in workbench tools such as the Data Dictionary and ABAP Debugger.
• Skilled in reverse engineering to understand HARMAN’s SAP IBP processes and develop future change requests.
• Exposure to OData and SAP Fiori is a plus.

• This position requires up to 20% of travel.
