Sr Enterprise API Architect

The responsibilities of this position are central to defining our API strategy and guaranteeing smooth implementation across our application landscape. Close collaboration with different teams at Aristocrat, including application development, integrations, and external customer partners, is key to establishing high-quality operational protocols for API usage.

What Youll Do

• Lead the creation and implementation of the API Strategy, including build principles, standards, security policies, and monitoring practices.
• Build, develop, and implement integration solutions using APIs.
• Mentor and lead the organization in navigating the implementation of APIs, guaranteeing alignment with crucial goals like Security, Scalability, Speed to Market, and M&A efficiencies.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to collect needs and establish integration approaches throughout IT and other business divisions.
• Apply and promote the use of API platforms like Mulesoft or Apigee to develop strong and scalable integration solutions.
• Lead the Enterprise API stack build and influence application solution architecture to leverage API and service-focused creations.
• Implement and enforce security standard methodologies to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain proactive monitoring systems to ensure the health and performance of integration solutions.
• Focus on crafting efficient and effective solutions that meet business needs and drive operational excellence.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to development teams and collaborators.
• Keep yourself informed about the most recent developments and progressions in API technologies and integration methodologies.
• Ensure API Documentation is maintained in LeanIX, Aristocrat’s architecture tool.
