Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to validate, automate, and ensure the quality of complex ETL workflows. The role requires strong SQL skills, test automation expertise, and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and scripting.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate ETL workflows and processes across different ETL tools (preferred: IBM DataStage).
• Perform data validation and verification using Query Search and SQL queries.
• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for ETL testing (using Java/Python).
• Collaborate with developers to integrate ETL test cases into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Utilize GitHub for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and change tracking.
• Identify, report, and track defects to closure, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and workflows.
• Hands-on experience in ETL testing (preferably IBM DataStage).
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data validation.
• Experience in test automation (Java/Python preferred).
• Understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands for file handling, process monitoring, and log analysis.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and basic GitHub commands.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
