Job Description
- Network Security Implementation :
- I mplement, and manage secure network architectures.
- E nforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend security solutions, tools, and technologies.
- Monitoring and Incident Response :
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation .
- Proactive infrastructure monitoring and highlight gaps
- Firewall and VPN Management :
- Configure and manage F irewalls (Legacy & NGFW) , VPNs, IDS/IPS, Proxy and other security appliances.
- Implement and maintain network access controls and encryption protocols.
- Collaboration and Training :
- Work closely with other infrastructure teams to ensure secure network integration.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience :
- Hands-on experience in network security.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures.
- Technical Skills :
- In-depth knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo-Alto, FortiGate) , VPNs (Remote and IPsec) , IDS/IPS, Zscaler and encryption technologies.
- Understanding of various network protocols (switching & routing) preferable with Cisco, Arista and Juniper.
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Certifications :
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCSP, or similar are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
