Job Description

The Sales Representative for Hospital Supplies is a key role within our company, focusing on selling and promoting medical products to healthcare facilities. As a sales expert, you will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with hospital administrators, purchasing agents, and other medical professionals to drive sales and achieve revenue targets. Your understanding of the healthcare environment and industry-specific needs will enable you to tailor solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency in hospitals. The role requires a dynamic, self-motivated, and customer-oriented individual who can work independently to meet sales goals while adhering to company standards and healthcare regulations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with hospital administrators and purchasing agents.
  • Conduct sales presentations to demonstrate the benefits and features of our hospital supplies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospital sector to expand market share.
  • Regularly visit healthcare facilities to provide support and gather product feedback.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with hospital procurement teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to strategically position our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales materials and campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Manage and update client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company profitability.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management on sales performance.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company's products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare or medical supplies industry.
  • Strong understanding of hospital purchasing processes and decision-making units.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for sales activities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
