Job Description

A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes. Utilizing strong analytical skills, business analysts assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Working in a variety of industries, their main objective is to enhance organizational efficiency by enabling technology solutions that align with the strategic goals of the business. The position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and deep knowledge of data analytics. Business Analysts are critical in fostering an environment of continuous improvement and enhancing business performance through effective change management.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise between IT and business units to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for projects.
  • Create detailed functional specifications to guide project development teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and disseminate findings.
  • Align project objectives with company strategies and stakeholder needs.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met within scope and budget constraints.
  • Identify technical and financial risks in proposed business changes.
  • Utilize data modeling techniques to pinpoint trends and insights.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on new processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a business analyst role or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in documenting complex business processes and requirements.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and software development processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
