What Youll Do

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Client Focus path within BCGs Risk and Compliance Practice Area, your focus will be supporting the Risk Analytics team and will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for clients. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.

You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise. You will apply your subject matter knowledge to support project proposals, including outside-in analyses, competitive benchmarking, and maturity assessments. You will contribute to the development of client-ready deliverables, including presentations, white papers, maturity models, and regulatory trackers and will support ongoing knowledge curation efforts, including vendor landscape evaluations and toolkit development for the compliance and risk domain.

You will collaborate with case teams to support clients in identifying, assessing, and managing regulatory, financial, and non-financial risks across a range of domains (especially credit risk). You will conduct research and analysis on relevant regulations, risk and compliance frameworks, and industry benchmarks to generate actionable insights. You will liaise with specialized teams (e.g., BCG X, Risk Expert Consultants) to co-develop optimal solutions and ensure seamless delivery of projects and will work alongside consultants to collect, synthesize, and analyze case team learnings, contributing to the development of new knowledge assets such as case vignettes, frameworks, and methodologies.

The R&C PA helps clients to manage key risks strategically, to advance organizational resilience and establish a profound risk culture, by defining and transforming R&C operating models. We cover a diverse set of topics across financial and non-financial risks and assist in enabling clients strategy through technical enablement with the help of our deep expertise in risk modelling, analytics and digitization.

What Youll Bring

• 2+ years of consulting experience in the Banking/Financial Services, Insurance (in India) sectors and Credit risk; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred in Banking/Financial Services, Insurance (in India) in financial risk and regulations - Credit Risk (required), additional Risk types (bonus)
• Degree requirement: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, or Law
• Credential requirement: Financial Risk Manager certification administered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals or Chartered Financial Analyst
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks especially BASEL guidelines, Reserve Bank of India guidelines
• Fluency in written and spoken English, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
