Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the sales team by facilitating communication, organizing data, supporting the sales force, and ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. This vital position is responsible for streamlining administrative tasks and coordinating between different departments, ensuring that deals and customer satisfaction are both maintained and enhanced. As a key member of the sales team, the Sales Coordinator needs to have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. They play a crucial part in managing client accounts, organizing sales performance reports, and communicating with suppliers and customers to enhance operational performance. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the preparation of sales proposals, making key administrative decisions, and aiding in the implementation of sales strategies. The successful candidate will be a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for supporting the sales efforts to drive business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules and correspondence between sales team and clients efficiently.
  • Prepare and organize sales reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Assist in the processing of orders to ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records regularly.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, production, and logistics departments.
  • Handle inquiries from customers and provide necessary information promptly.
  • Support the sales team by preparing and distributing promotional materials.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and suggest improvements when needed.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Arrange and coordinate sales meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries.
  • Provide administrative support and manage logistical details for sales events.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales contracts, proposals, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in similar administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
