As an F&B Service Expert, you will play a pivotal role in the hospitality industry, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests through high-quality food and beverage service. Your responsibilities will include creating a hospitable atmosphere, delivering top-notch customer service, and skillfully managing service dynamics in accordance with established standards. You need to be adept at multitasking and thrive in fast-paced environments, engaging with diverse clientele to meet and exceed their expectations. Additionally, you will be required to uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, respond promptly to customer requirements, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of menu items to assist patrons in making informed dining choices. Your role will be vital in enhancing customer loyalty and promoting the establishment's reputation for service excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and professionally.
  • Efficiently manage seating arrangements and coordinate with the kitchen staff.
  • Ensure guests have a positive dining experience by attending to their needs promptly.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and offer recommendations when necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas and dining tables.
  • Address any customer issues or complaints with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new service staff to uphold service quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and adhere to health and safety standards strictly during service operations.
  • Upsell and promote specials to enhance guest experience and boost sales.
  • Ensure all service equipment is properly cleaned and maintained regularly.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service or a similar hospitality role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
  • A warm and approachable demeanor, paired with a professional appearance always.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage a busy service environment efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and billing accurately.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices in food handling.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
