Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Katalon Studio to lead and execute automated testing efforts for our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing principles, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, and a strong ability to mentor and guide junior QA members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation scripts using Katalon Studio
• Experience scripting on Selenium or Playwright or Cypress for 3+ years
• Low code no code automation tool experience would be a plus
• Lead end-to-end automation testing activities for web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and report defects with detailed logs and screenshots.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Continuously optimize and enhance automation frameworks and test coverage.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in automation, including coding standards, version control, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  
  

• 6+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Katalon Studio.
• Proficient in Groovy/Java scripting and Katalon’s built-in keywords and custom keyword development.
• Strong experience with web UI, API, and mobile test automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail, JIRA, or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with source control tools like Git.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
