We are seeking a Senior Transaction Manager to execute on India based transactions and deliver excellence in client service and execution.
About The Role
As a Senior Transaction Manager, you will be a key member of our India operations team, responsible for managing and executing India based real estate transactions across the Indian market. You will guide clients through the entire process—defining space requirements, analyzing options, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with local regulations—while also aligning with Mohr Partners’ global standards.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong market knowledge of India’s commercial real estate landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute lease and capital transactions within the Indian market with accuracy and timely delivery.
Develop real estate strategies tailored to Indian business practices and client objectives.
Collect client requirements, conduct India-focused market research, oversee site selection, and prepare RFPs.
Negotiate LOIs, leases, purchase/sale agreements, and approval packages, ensuring compliance with local real estate laws and practices.
Deliver financial analysis (NPV, IRR, cash flow projections) to support client decision-making.
Oversee due diligence of transaction documents with attention to India-specific legal and regulatory frameworks.
Track and manage critical dates, reporting deliverables, and invoicing processes.
Build and strengthen relationships with clients, landlords, developers, and brokers across India.
Collaborate with internal Mohr teams (business development, marketing, investment sales) to support India-focused special projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, consulting, or strategic advisory within the Indian market (brokerage/advisory background a strong advantage).
RERA registration (preferred and advantageous for this role).
Strong knowledge of India’s commercial real estate sector, including leasing trends, compliance, and financial analysis.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of real estate databases and tools is an added advantage.
Self-driven professional with the ability to work independently while collaborating with Mohr’s global teams.
Professional, client-focused demeanor with proven leadership and relationship management skills.
