Job Description

The position of Store Executive is an integral role within the operations of any retail organization, responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of the store on a daily basis. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring the staff are well-coordinated, and achieving sales targets while providing excellent customer service. A Store Executive also plays a pivotal role in maintaining the store's compliance with health and safety regulations, merchandising standards, and company policies. You will be expected to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers, making sure that the store continually meets and exceeds business goals. A successful Store Executive is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has excellent leadership skills, enabling them to lead a team effectively and improve store performance, making it a dynamic and rewarding position.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the store ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of store staff.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order new products as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure store compliance with health, safety, and company regulations consistently.
  • Prepare and manage the store's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain effective customer service standards across the store.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality product procurement.
  • Develop promotional and merchandising initiatives to boost store visibility.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and provide satisfactory resolutions promptly.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and enhance store strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure the store's visual presentation adheres to branding guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and develop budgetary plans.
  • Proficient with inventory management software and retail POS systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
