Conduct thorough analysis of complex, security-centric datasets to identify significant trends and patterns.
Design, implement, and refine KPIs and metrics that align with organizational priorities and the evolving threat landscape.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Cyber Operations and related teams to address data requirements, integrate recommendations, and drive continuous improvement in metric concepts.
Aggregate and harmonize data from multiple sources to support the development, visualization, and dissemination of actionable metrics and KPIs.
Produce clear and insightful reports that inform executive leadership on strategic direction and facilitate the enhancement of security-centric alerting mechanisms.
Leverage advanced data preprocessing and analytical techniques to interpret information gathered from CSO CyberOps platforms.
Transform raw data into meaningful insights to guide both operational and strategic cybersecurity decision-making.
Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of coherent and impactful metric solutions.
Effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring reports and presentations as needed.
Support the ongoing development of security alerting concepts by providing data-driven guidance and analysis.
Create, manage, and distribute reports, deliverables, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Design and develop visualization dashboards to provide leadership and analysts with an aggregated view of alerting, attacks, and other relevant KPIs..
Primary / Mandatory skills:
Overall – At least 8+ years demonstrated experience and expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting within a cybersecurity context.
Proficiency in acquiring, preprocessing, and interpreting large-scale, multi-source security datasets.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Experience with relevant data analytics tools, platforms, and software commonly used in cybersecurity operations.
Applied statistics skills, including statistical testing and regression analysis.
Machine learning knowledge, Data Science background desired.
Experience in network security threat analysis.
Familiarity with the latest trends and developments in cyber security metrics and KPIs
A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in cybersecurity through ongoing training and professional development.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Should be flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours.
Desirable skills:
Bachelors degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proficiency with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or equivalent).
Additional information (if any):
Should be flexible to work on weekends.
Should be flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours.
Location: Hyderabad
Certification: CISSP, SANS, and/or other relevant certifications.
