About The Role

Infrastructure & Platform Modernization

• Lead infrastructure automation leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, etc.).
• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Build reusable IaC modules and enforce infrastructure standards across environments.
• Drive cloud platform modernization and legacy system transformation.
• Build containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure testing and validation into CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

• Provide operational support for UI and backend applications, ensuring system stability and quick resolution of production issues.
• Conduct incident triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution for Illustration application outages or defects.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation and production deployment activities.
• Perform IT incident response, triage live issues, and address application data issues with proper documentation and RCA.
• Conduct quarterly trend analysis to proactively identify system risks and performance improvement areas.
  
  

• Modernize and refactor underperforming solutions for long-term sustainability.
• Define, implement, and track service SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for critical services.
• Provide operational metrics and reporting on production performance, SLA adherence, and support tickets.
• Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual intervention in incident management.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability for platform improvement.
  
  

• Work closely with business partners, developers, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure system stability.
• Manage operational relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Provide support to project life cycle activities, including architecture reviews, code reviews, solution validation, and release readiness.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture aligned with MassMutual platform standards.
