Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with proven experience in onshore and offshore oil & gas projects, proficient in design tools such as ETAP, Dialux, and other relevant software. The ideal candidate should have experience working with leading EPC companies like Worley, KBR, Technip, or similar, and a strong understanding of electrical systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical design and analysis using tools such as ETAP for load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, arc flash, and motor starting studies.
• Conduct lighting calculations and layouts using Dialux or similar tools.
• Prepare and review single line diagrams (SLDs), cable sizing, equipment specifications, and data sheets.
• Develop electrical layouts, cable routing, grounding, and lighting systems.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.).
• Coordinate with other disciplines (instrumentation, civil, mechanical) to support integrated project delivery.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, and AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Hands-on experience in onshore and offshore project environments.
• Familiar with EPC workflows and documentation standards.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
  
  

• Prior experience with major EPC firms such as Worley, KBR, Technip, Wood, McDermott, etc.
• Experience in brownfield modifications and offshore platforms.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classification and design in explosive environments.
• Knowledge of international electrical standards and regulatory compliance.
