Overall Purpose of the Job

Group Engineering is a central business group responsible for Expros engineering activities.

The Draftsperson is required to produce Engineering Documentation as directed by the Engineering Team Leader in order to fulfil the requirements of Engineering projects.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

• Produce Engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, layouts, schematics as directed
• Enter Engineering documents into PDM system and configure
• Perform all tasks in accordance with Expro quality procedures and group standards
• Be competent in operation of Engineering systems and software packages
• Actively be involved in relevant Engineering meetings
• Operate in a professional manner as a representative of Expro Group Engineering
  
  

• Searched for in PDM system and associated to Engineering project/Design file with all docs using approved templates
• Understood and be manufactured in a cost-effective manner with minimal non-conformances
• Assembled, tested and used in the field with minimal corrective actions Maintained and revised/revisited easily by any other member of Group Engineering
• Experienced CAD Packages: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Solid works
• Data Management Tools: Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM
• Exposure to Any PLM Tool is an added advantage.
• Should be well versed with drafting standards and must have fair understanding of GD&T, P&ID and Welding standards.
