Job Description

  • Act as the business analyst and technical liaison between stakeholders and the implementation partner.
  • Define business requirements for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Support configuration, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere integration, and data mapping.
  • Lead UAT, troubleshoot defects, and validate data accuracy across systems.
  • Serve as system administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning (roles, security, metadata, and hierarchies).
  • Maintain and enhance planning models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Monitor and optimize integrations between Adaptive Planning, SAP S/4HANA, Datasphere, and Workday HCM.
  • Support financial planning cycles, ensuring accurate and timely data flows.
  • Train and support business users, document processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with Adaptive Planning and SAP innovations to propose enhancements

Role Requirements

  • Lead or support full-cycle implementations of Workday Adaptive Planning, designing and configuring models, dimensions, versions, sheets (e.g., model sheets, cube sheets), and shared formulas.
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements—develop solution blueprints accordingly.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and OfficeConnect templates to support financial analysis and insight delivery.
  • Manage model structures, hierarchies, dimensions, and planning templates.
  • Configure enhancements such as new reports, dashboards, and planning sheets based on evolving business needs.
  • Coordinate and validate periodic data loads from SAP S/4HANA and other upstream systems

Qualifications And Background

  • 5-10 year and more IT experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience with EPM/CPM tools (Workday Adaptive Planning strongly preferred).
  • Experience integrating EPM solutions with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Datasphere.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Hands-on administration experience: user roles, security, metadata management.
  • Strong data analysis, Excel, and reporting skills (Office Connect/Adaptive Integration a plus).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred

  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification or formal training.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration tools SAP CPI or middleware (MuleSoft), or ETL processes.
  • Experience with automation or scripting for Adaptive Planning.

Location- Hyderabad
