Cloud Engineer II (Azure Infra/DevOps)

Shift- 2 PM- 11 PM IST /Hybrid work mode

What you’ll do for Insight:  

• Be eager to learn and stay up to date on new and emerging cloud technologies.
• Work as part of Insight and client teams, following Agile/Scrum approaches and ceremonies.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with teammates, client personnel, and client stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable about the latest industry trends, and highly innovative.
  
  

Requirements 

Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar or related role is required.
• Any relevant cloud certification is a plus.
  
  

Technical skills

• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a must.
• Familiarity with writing infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM templates, CloudFormation) is a must.
• Working experience with at least one of the CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Azure Repos) is required.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix-based systems is a must.
• Proficiency in Azure infrastructure cloud services like Azure VM, VNET, Storage, Monitoring, Azure Functions, Load Balancers, Azure AD, Azure DNS, Traffic managers and Application Gateways for network optimization.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automation tasks
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure cloud infrastructure
