About The Job
We are looking for a high-performing and strategically minded DSP Operations Lead to head our Amazon DSP media execution team based in Hyderabad. This person will build and lead a team of 5 DSP Operations Specialists, ensuring world-class campaign execution, deep performance analysis, and continuous improvement across 10 global markets.
The DSP Operations Lead will act as the key bridge between global strategy and local execution, working hand-in-hand with the Global DSP Strategy Lead to translate high-level media direction into effective campaign operations. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on DSP expertise, a performance-driven mindset, and strong leadership capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution Partnership
- Serve as the primary operational counterpart to the Global DSP Strategy Lead, helping translate strategic plans into scalable, high-performing campaigns.
- Provide input and feedback on global DSP strategy based on in-market performance and operational insight.
- Contribute to advanced campaign planning, testing roadmaps, and implementation of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) use cases.
- Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee end-to-end execution of Amazon DSP campaigns across 10+ markets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and media best practices.
- Own pacing, budget management, and real-time optimizations across multiple campaign types (awareness, consideration, conversion).
- Lead weekly performance reviews and track KPIs (ROAS, ACOS, NTB rate, CVR, etc.) across teams and brands.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 DSP Operations Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance on campaign troubleshooting, setup quality, optimization techniques, and platform best practices.
- Create SOPs, QA frameworks, and internal playbooks to drive consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central contact for campaign execution across strategy, content, analytics, and market teams.
- Coordinate closely with creative/content teams to ensure the right assets are used for the right audiences.
- Partner with Amazon representatives and tool providers (Pacvue, Skai, etc.) to stay ahead of platform developments.
- Performance Reporting & Innovation
- Lead campaign reporting and synthesis for key global stakeholders, ensuring insights drive strategic actions.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture, leveraging AMC and other tools to surface new insights and incremental growth opportunities.
- Identify and implement innovations in targeting, measurement, and automation to boost performance and media value.
About You
- Experience in digital advertising or ecommerce media, with 3+ years managing Amazon DSP campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach talent, and ensure flawless execution at scale.
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Advertising products, retail media principles, and ecommerce metrics.
- Hands-on expertise with DSP campaign management tools, campaign tracking, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Amazon Attribution, and third-party platforms (e.g., Pacvue, Skai, Perpetua).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate performance data into strategic insights.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Amazon DSP Certification is mandatory.
