Python Engineer (Data, AWS)

This role is part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital eXperience Group (*/dxg) which co-creates state-of-the art products and solutions with companys businesses around the globe. Our growing array of solutions supports the expanding set of companys Expert Solutions and online product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Build web services for the team
• Provide expertise in ETL and data wrangling using data from a wide variety of sources
• Create and maintain an optimal, scalable, and automated data pipeline from inception to delivery
• Collaborate effectively with other teams across this company
• A self-starter who can align the technology solution with a business goal
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in supporting the development of production-ready solutions leveraging python engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and open-source libraries and tools such as pandas, matplotlib, Jupyter, etc.
• Experience building, optimizing, and scaling data pipelines, architectures, and data sets in cloud-based (AWS) environments
• Working NoSQL knowledge, experience working with document databases (e.g., DynamoDB)
• Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores
• Experience working with agile and Software Development Lifecycle tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git)

Contract Length:

• 3 months, renewable
