Job Description

As a Retail Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience in our stores. You will be responsible for connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our products to meet those needs. Your energetic and customer-focused approach will help you to not only achieve sales targets but also to foster long-lasting relationships with our customers. In this position, you must be adept at handling a variety of sales transactions, maintaining merchandise displays, and implementing strategic sales initiatives. You will also be responsible for staying updated on product features and ensuring a neat and organized sales floor. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, sales acumen, and customer service excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences effectively.
  • Promote and sell products while exceeding monthly sales targets set by the management.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain an organized, attractive, and well-stocked merchandise display at all times.
  • Handle product returns and customer complaints with a positive and solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Stay updated on new product offerings, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives and sales targets.
  • Accurately process transactions using the store’s point-of-sale software system.
  • Actively participate in professional development and training sessions to improve sales techniques.
  • Conduct inventory management tasks including stock checks and reordering supplies.
  • Report sales results, customer feedback, and emerging issues to store management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on products to improve customer satisfaction outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail sales environment with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or in team settings.
  • Basic math skills with proficiency in handling cash transactions and using point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining merchandise displays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education level required; additional sales training is a plus.
