Technical Consultant Robotics

Job Responsibilities

  • Create test protocols for extensive testing and maintenance of products and drones, particularly UAVs.
  • Creating test documentation and checklists and maintaining consistency across all tests run.
  • Evaluate the maintenance of drones & prototypes and products during the maintenance, testing & operation phase.
  • Analyses the field test report after every test flight by submitting the detailed MIS report and maintaining them in a record.
  • Quality control and quality assurance of UAVs, prototypes, and products.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of our fleet of drones, ensuring that they are in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drone hardware and software, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty drone components.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for optimizing drone performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in drone technology and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements, as necessary.
  • Perform an internal audit based on the downtime of equipment and monitor the health of that equipment.
  • Plan for basic, regular, and scheduled maintenance for all fleets of equipment in the drone inventory.

MANPOWER REQUISITION FORM

  • End-to-End DJI Platform Expertise
  • Flight Log Analysis & Telemetry Interpretation (Basic knowledge of transmission system)
  • Hardware Diagnostics & Troubleshooting (Drone, Payload, Thermal management and PDB)
  • Life cycle management for batteries and industrial equipment. (LiPo/Intelligent)
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Planning
  • Technical Documentation (SOP Development)

Required Skills

  • Multi-Drone Fleet Health Monitoring (Firmware Management, Logs & Version Control)
  • Inventory Control & Spares Forecasting (Not mandatory but add-on: JIRA / Ticketing Workflow Management)
  • Incident Escalation Handling (RCA & CAPA)
  • Good knowledge of Geo-Fencing & Regulatory Compliance (DGCA)
  • Good skills in presentation and external communication
  • MS Office/Google Workspace Proficiency
  • Tool Proficiency (Multimeter, Thermal Camera, Soldering)
  • Hands-on Training

Qualification

B. Tech / BE (Mechanical, EC, If Mechatronics or Airspace Highly recommended, ME/MBA Highly appreciated)
