SQL Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator/Developer to support the project team from a database perspective. This role will be responsible for setting up the SQL database environment, creating tables, views, and stored procedures, and ensuring database performance, security, and integrity. This dedicated resource will provide the required backend database expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design and set up the SQL Server database

Develop and optimize database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions based on business and application requirements

Manage database setup, configuration, and deployment in alignment with project requirements

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance optimization through proper indexing, normalization, and query tuning

Implement database security including role-based access controls and data protection measures

Collaborate with the PowerApps development team to ensure smooth data connectivity and efficient performance

Support data migration and transformation activities between systems such as from legacy or staging environments

Conduct regular backups, recovery testing, and performance monitoring to maintain database reliability

Document database structures, data flows, and processes for technical reference

Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database development and administration

Strong proficiency in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning

Experience With Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, And Triggers

Experience in data modeling, ETL, and data migration activities

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
