Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a sales department. Acting as a pivotal link between management, sales teams, and clients, this role involves handling a variety of tasks to support the sales force, optimizing productivity and enabling the organization to achieve its sales targets. This includes managing schedules, creating sales proposals, processing orders, and handling customer inquiries. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of sales operations by assisting with administrative tasks, managing sales communications, and acting as a custodian of departmental data. A keen eye for detail and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal sales processes to ensure seamless operations and optimal productivity.
  • Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals.
  • Handle incoming communications and proactively follow up on sales leads effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales records and handle various customer accounts meticulously.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Provide administrative support and manage calendars for sales executives and managers.
  • Interpret sales metrics and data to guide directions and departmental adjustments.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and facilitate customer interactions efficiently.
  • Manage order processing, from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints by serving as the frontline contact point.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to coordinate sales promotions initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or sales coordination role within a similar industry.
  • Exceptional proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication skills to foster beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices to enhance operations.
