Job Description
Your Tasks
- Lead a Team of 3-4 engineers, reports to Head of department Blades Reliability, Transport and Handling
- Conduct load measurement campaigns to capture real time load cases
- Liaise with core engineering, logistics and project managers
- Define allowable loads blade specific for transport & handling
- Perform the DFMEA/PFMEA exercise specific for mode of transport and blade type
- 15+ year’s experience in transport handling or similar role in the wind or composites industry
- Advantage (not a must):
- Experience in conducting measurement campaigns
- Familiar with wind blade drawings and standards (IMO-DNV GL)
