In the Indirect Tax role at Siemens Gamesa Wind Power, your day will be dynamic and collaborative! You’ll work closely with various departments to ensure seamless tax compliance and management. This includes analyzing tax legislation changes, managing audits, and implementing strategic tax planning. Your expertise will guide internal teams and external customers through the complexities of indirect taxation, ensuring compliance and optimized operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure full compliance with monthly GST payments, return filings, and management information systems (MIS)
• Strictly adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements to maintain flawless operations
• Stay updated with tax legislation changes and determine their impact on the organization
• Handle GST audits and assessments conducted by tax authorities with outstanding precision
• Assist in responding promptly and appropriately to queries raised by statutory departments related to indirect taxation
• Implement and manage an effective documentation system for maintaining documents related to return filings, replies, and litigations, ensuring they are easily retrievable
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience with CA / CMA qualification and 1+years of experience in Indirect Taxation in an ERP (SAP) environment
• Strong familiarity and competence with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience in leading and managing an Indirect Tax team, especially in a Big Four consulting or large manufacturing company
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios
• Ambitious and driven to successfully implement tax planning opportunities
• Willingness to travel across various states in India to ensure comprehensive tax management
