IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in our New Age department, specifically in the Information Technology, Engineering, and CX & Digital Channels teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for various digital banking products and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the digital banking industry
• Mentor and guide junior developers to improve their technical skills and knowledge
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of database management and SQL
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
  

• Experience with digital banking platforms and technologies
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud computing and microservices architecture
• Certifications in relevant technologies and frameworks
