Staff Technical Program Manager

We own the entire technology stack, from user interfaces and expert management systems to workforce operations, digital expertise and conversation capabilities, data infrastructure, and platform services.

We are looking for a candidate capable of understanding system design and platform architecture, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and drive customer outcomes in a platform organization. The right candidate for this role is someone who has a strong technical program background in an agile environment, has worked within a large, complex organization, and is capable of communicating and influencing at all levels. They need to have a relentless focus on the customers, use data to make informed decisions, and be strategically focused to build durable platform solutions for our most important customer and expert problems.

What youll bring

• 10+ years of strong Technical Program Management experience, leading multiple medium-large sized programs, simultaneously, in a platform organization.
• Experience with software development lifecycles and a focus on building high-quality software.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs using Kanban, Agile, and Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience tracking and improving operational metrics such as scale, incident reduction, quality, velocity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical skills with proven creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to connect the dots across various programs to simplify the ‘why/what/how’
• Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences including goals of program and other relevant success criteria
• Highly capable in stakeholder management and strong capability to build strong relationships
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Result oriented team player with excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills to execute and deliver outcomes

• Develop a program structure and drive a program operating rhythm to bring together complex, cross-organizational teams.

• Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders in executive teams, product management & engineering, and various cross-functional teams to effectively drive towards program outcomes.
• Manage dependencies at scale through structure and right sized processes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels leading to quick decisions.
• Communicate results and progress clearly and in actionable form across the organization and at all levels; includes program status, risks, dependencies and change control.
• Thrive in establishing order and clarity amongst ambiguity and chaos.
• Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently.
