Title: Senior Director, Product Management

Reporting to: General Manager, India

Location/Travel: Bangalore

Opportunity

Get Well is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to play a critical leadership role in overseeing our India-based Product Management teams. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the definition and seamless execution of the product roadmap while driving innovation, efficiency, and quality. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director of Product Management will closely collaborate with senior executives, including the US-based SVPs of Product Development, SVP of AI, and the Chief Product Officer (CPO), to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive innovation in the patient engagement space.

This position reports directly to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Chief Product Officer and will be a strategic partner in driving the companys technological vision and growth.

Responsibilities

Product Development Oversight

  • Own and oversee the execution of the product incubation process, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the India-based engineering leadership, US-based VPs of Product Management, SVPs of Product Development and the CPO to align product roadmaps and strategy with engineering capabilities.
  • Ensure the India-based teams have a clear understanding of product goals and customer needs, translating those into engineering solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the SVP of AI, SVPs of Product Development and other senior product leaders to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into the product suite.
  • Lead the global product teams to drive consistent and effective product management processes, from ideation to release.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between geographically dispersed teams, aligning on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with the leadership to define and implement Get Well’s long-term product strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader business vision.
  • Develop and manage product management budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively to meet company goals.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of product management processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Technology Innovation & Scaling

  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to ensure Get Well’s product and engineering teams are competitive and forward-thinking.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in Get Well’s product offerings.
  • Oversee the scaling of engineering systems, infrastructure, and processes to accommodate growing business needs.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the India-based product teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and career development programs.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure that Get Well has the necessary technical talent and capabilities to achieve strategic goals.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering and product development, ensuring continuous improvement and high levels of operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the product management team to define clear product requirements, user stories, and performance metrics.
  • Implement best practices for agile development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to the General Manager, executive leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the engineering function at the executive level, advocating for resources and support as needed to drive product success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, software engineering and product development with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams in a global, multi-location environment.
  • Domain knowledge within the health tech space
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Clinical educational qualifications and experience a plus.
  • Experience working closely with senior product and AI leaders to drive integrated, cross-functional strategies.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in scaling high-performance teams, motivating, and mentoring engineering talent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse cultural contexts and organizational levels.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies that can enhance product development.
  • Strong ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on with day-to-day operations.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of executing on ambitious goals.
  • Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy and Federal, State, and local regulations
