Guitcom - Consultant - Finance Automation Build

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end automation of a wide range of finance and business processes, embedding robust controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Define and document standard operating procedures and internal controls in line with GAAP and industry best practices
• Direct technical teams in the design, build, and deployment of automation solutions, analytics platforms, and accelerators, ensuring alignment with client requirements
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful and timely delivery
• Oversee the integration of automation tools with financial systems, SQL databases, and reporting platforms (Power BI, etc.)
• Ensure process standardisation, scalability, and data integrity across all automated workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering, solution onboarding, user acceptance, and training
• Continuously monitor and optimise automated processes for performance, reliability, and compliance
• Provide clear project updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to internal leadership
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
• 4+ years experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or consulting, with a strong hands-on background in process automation and controls
• Proven experience directing technical teams on analytics platform and automation solution delivery
• Proficiency in SQL, financial analytics, and reporting/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong understanding of GAAP, controls, and process documentation
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with a focus on continuous improvement
