Senior Backend Engineer

🔧 What You’ll Work On

• Architect and implement backend systems using Django and FastAPI
• Build APIs and microservices that power our app, web tools, and AI integrations
• Design scalable, secure database schemas using PostgreSQL
• Implement Redis caching and Celery task queues for async workflows
• Integrate with AI models and external APIs (e.g., OpenAI, streaming APIs)
• Write clean, testable code with strong unit/integration test coverage
• Ensure code and infrastructure meet privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA context)
• Deploy using Docker, and work across Azure and AWS
• Collaborate with the frontend team and product leads to ship end-to-end features

✅ Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer
• Strong command of Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Celery, and building secure APIs
• Familiar with Docker, cloud services (Azure, AWS), and CI/CD basics
• Experience integrating with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, etc.), including real-time streaming integrations
• Able to build scalable systems with clean architecture and maintainable code
• Strong understanding of privacy-first development and secure data handling
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for collaboration

📍 Logistics

• Location: Office in Koramangala, Bangalore (This is an in-office role)
• Team: 10 people (3 founders, 7 teammates)
• Work week: 5 days/week (can extend to 6 during critical months)
• Pay: ₹24 to ₹36 LPA
• Experience: 3–5+ years
