Job Description

A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you’ll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.

The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Procurement team you facilitate procurement contracts and supplier interactions for the Bangalore Acceleration Centre. As a Senior Associate you build relationships, manage supplier performance, and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyzes to deliver business results. You oversee timely closure of procurement requests and fulfill process requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate procurement contracts and manage supplier interactions

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyzes for business impact
  • Process procurement requests in a timely manner
  • Fulfill process and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine procurement strategies
  • Support the development of procurement policies and procedures

What You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

  • Experience in Sourcing and Procurement Services
  • Proficiency in Contract and Supplier Management
  • Skill with Procure-to-Pay platforms like Coupa
  • Thorough understanding of procurement operations
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing initiatives
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Communication skills
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Access
  • Past sourcing and procurement experience preferred
