Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Define/Document & Roll out Processes, Templates, Checklists, Work instructions etc. as per ASPICE 3.1, ISO 26262, ISO 21434 and various other standards.
  • Perform Process improvement Management activities.
  • Institutionalize Process performance Metrics
  • Work with various Business Units to bring common understanding of processes.
  • Perform gap analysis as per ASPICE 3.1, ISO 21434 and ISO 26262.
  • Understanding of IEC 62443-4-1 and Cyber Resilience Act
  • Perform Quality Assurance activities as per ASPICE 3.1 and ISO 21434
    • Define QA Strategy
    • Support and facilitate Project teams throughout the project lifecycle to achieve ASPICE CL3 and ISO 21434 compliance.
    • Identify and track work products and process performance objectives.
    • Coordinate and track software quality assurance activities.
    • Facilitate in defining Project performance metrics.
    • Perform Internal QA audit and facilitate external assessment.
    • Escalation of Non conformances.
    • Generate QA report and present to Management.
    • Facilitate in Process implementation.
    • Perform release and process performance reviews
    • Mentoring/Training to Project team
  • Integrate processes with other standards (ISO 21434, ISO26262 and IATF).
  • Have strategic thinking for implementing multiple standards
  • Maturity to handle critical project situations
  • May need to travel. (30%-40%)
  • May need to lead team
Requirements/Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Preferred (or equivalent)
  • Automotive SPICE® Certified Provisional Assessor.
  • Hands-on experience in ASPICE implementation up to level 3.
  • 9-16 years of experience of working with development teams as a software Quality engineer in implementing various standards and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies/processes, and relevant standards and reference models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®, ISO 26262, ISO 21434 CMMI, ISO 15504/330XX series, ISO 12207, or similar).
  • Practical experience in implementing ASPICE 3.1/4.0 in projects.
  • Knowledge of software development tools.
  • Knowledge of Application life cycle management tools like Polarion, IBM-ALM etc.
  • Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies principles, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, interpersonal relationships, professional ethics, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of program management, schedule management, risk management, metrics management.
  • Be able to evaluate the impact of software quality management principles on business objectives and developing and implementing software quality programs.
  • Must understand how and when to perform software audits/assessments including audit/assessment planning, approaches, types, analyses, reporting results and follow-up.
  • High assertiveness, good facilitation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASPICE Competent Assessor
  • Certified automotive cybersecurity Engineer (ISO 21434:2021)
  • Certified Automotive Functional Safety Professional (ISO 26262)
  • Knowledge of IEC62443-4-1 and CRA (Cyber Resilience Act).

Knowledge of Quality System Standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100, ISO 13485.
