Principal Consultant - IBM App Connect

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Middleware Integration Specialist with strong expertise in IBM ACE (App

Connect Enterprise) and a solid background in banking integration projects. The ideal candidate

should have between 4 to 8 years of relevant experience and be capable of designing, developing, and

supporting robust middleware solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integration solutions using IBM ACE for banking and financial services projects.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and support integration flows, message transformations, and system integrations across various banking systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the middleware layer.
• Work with SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading related to integration flows.
• Support UAT, SIT, and production deployments. Required Skills:
• 4–8 years of experience in middleware integration with a strong focus on IBM ACE.
• Proven experience in banking integration projects (preferably core banking, digital banking, or payments).
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for backend interaction and data manipulation.
• Good understanding of integration patterns, message queuing, and API-based integrations.
• Exposure to SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, and WSDL. Preferred / Added Advantage:
• Prior Middle East banking project experience.
• Secondary skill in Oracle Service Bus (OSB) or any other middleware integration tools.
• Understanding of security protocols, error handling, and transaction management in middleware integrations.
