Comms & Media (C&M) is one of the Industry Practices within Accenture’s S&C Global Network (GN) team. It focuses on serving clients across specific Industries – Communications, Media & Entertainment.
- Communications: Focuses primarily on industries related to telecommunications and information & communication technology (ICT). This dynamic team serves most of the world’s leading wireline, wireless, cable, and satellite communications and service providers.
- Media & Entertainment: Focuses on industries like broadcast, entertainment, print, and publishing.
Globally, Accenture Comms & Media practice works to develop value growth strategies for its clients, who are top-notch organizations, and help improve their offers and go-to-market performance and maximize organizational effectiveness. We work on end-to-end projects delivering management and technology consultancy to help our clients achieve greater profitability, quality, and reliability.
We are looking for expertise in
one or more of the following domains to address the diverse project demands of our media clients globally
- Media Supply Chain Expertise:
- Content Production & Distribution Workflows: Understanding the end-to-end process from content creation to delivery, including pre-production, production, post-production, distribution, and archiving.
- Digital Asset Management (DAM): Expertise in managing and organizing digital media assets, including metadata tagging, version control, and storage.
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): Understanding how CDNs work and their importance in delivering high-quality streaming experiences to global audiences.
- Understanding of licensing agreements and rights management systems. For example, licensing agreements for content distribution on different platforms.
- Media Consumption Expertise:
- Content Formats: Familiarity with evolving content formats (e.g., interactive narratives, live streaming, podcasts, AR/VR) and their potential for audience engagement and monetization.
- Audience-Centric Content Strategy Development: Crafting content roadmaps and IP strategies based on audience demographics, interests, and platform usage psychographics etc
- Platform-Agnostic Consumption Insights: Analyzing cross-platform consumption patterns and audience migration trends across linear TV, CTV, and social video ecosystems.
- Audience Retention and Loyalty Strategies: Developing churn reduction programs and exclusive content drops to enhance subscriber lifetime value (SLTV).
- Media Revenue Growth
- Expertise in maximizing advertising revenue through programmatic advertising expertise, including real-time bidding (RTB), direct programmatic, and header bidding and Optimize ad tech stacks for improved yield management and implement data-driven audience targeting strategies.
- Experience in optimizing SVOD, AVOD, and TVOD strategies, including tiered pricing, content bundling, and churn reduction tactics. Expertise in subscriber acquisition cost (SAC) optimization and average revenue per user (ARPU) maximization.
- Experience in implement robust revenue forecasting models leveraging audience data, market trends, and content performance metrics and conduct in-depth financial analysis of content ROI, subscriber lifetime value (LTV), and media mix modeling to inform strategic decision-making
- Digital Media & Analytics
- OTT and Streaming Platform Expertise: Designing and optimizing content delivery for OTT platforms with expertise in VOD models and adaptive streaming technologies.
- Content Personalization and Recommendation Engines: Implementing strategies to enhance viewer engagement and tailor content offerings.
- Digital Distribution and Multi-Platform Strategy: Managing cross-platform content workflows and maximizing reach through social media, YouTube, and FAST channels.
- Advertising and Monetization Analytics: Analyzing ad performance metrics and leveraging attribution modeling to measure campaign impact.
- Data-Driven Content Strategy: Informing content creation and distribution decisions through analytics and competitive benchmarking.
We are engaged in wide variety of projects ranging from multi-year major systems integration transformation deals to shorter more agile, strategic engagements and have a rapidly been expanding portfolio of hyper-growth clients and an increasing footprint with next-gen technology and industry practices, with the following (but not limited to) role responsibilities:
- Independently lead and ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of complex, multi-track professional services engagements
- Proactively engage with senior client stakeholders (VP, C-suite) to deeply understand their strategic challenges, translating these into comprehensive business requirements, optimized process flows, and robust functional specifications that drive transformational outcomes.
- Serve as the primary engagement lead for small to medium-sized, cross-functional consulting teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement in delivering management consulting projects for our global clientele.
- Spearhead innovation and digital transformation programs for clients, orchestrating complex process enablement initiatives that result in sustainable competitive advantage and operational agility in a rapidly evolving M&E landscape
- Accountable for the P&L and strategic growth within specific client engagements or practice areas, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, while simultaneously identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities.
- Drive significant contributions to the Comms & Media industry groups growth strategy, actively shaping the practices offerings, defining strategic priorities, and establishing key performance metrics for practice health and expansion.
- Actively collaborate with and provide deep domain expertise to the global sales team, playing a pivotal role in identifying, qualifying, and winning new professional services engagements. This includes leading the drafting and strategic positioning of complex proposals that articulate compelling value propositions.
- Design, execute, and embed robust transformational change plans that are fully aligned with the client’s core business strategy. This involves adeptly engaging all levels of stakeholders to build unwavering commitment, mitigate resistance, and ensure successful adoption of new operating models and technologies.
Additional Key Skills Required:
- Should have an understanding of lean concepts and hands-on experience in delivering technology-driven business transformation projects using agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.
- Experience in agile-related tools like JIRA Confluence/Rally/MS Projects/VersionOne.
- Certification profession in PSM/CSM/SAFe/ICP-ACC.
- Skills in one or more roles.
- Experience in the role of Functional Business Analyst, Product Owners, Process Designers, Service Designers, Scrum Masters, Program Delivery Managers.
- Business Analysis - Gather requirements from business and prepare requirement documents. Propose solutions to the client based on gap analysis for the existing platforms. Analyze large data to conduct analysis and present insights with visualizations.
- Process Improvement - Understand issues with the current processes which can be resolved either through technology or process solutions and design detail level to-be process with all stakeholders.
- Value Architect and Tracking - Create value driver trees to break down into value components of business objectives and value drivers.
- Communication and Presentation - Plan and deliver well-structured oral and written communications.
- Structured Problem Solving - Help identify and structure key client challenges into hypotheses and conduct analyses to address the challenges.
- Stakeholder Management - Manage mid-level to senior client leadership and lead conversations.
- Impeccable team management skills with an ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.

- Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Your experience counts!
- MBA from a Tier 1 and Tier 2 school and Engineering from Tier 1 school or rich relevant industry experience.
- 7-13 years of experience in delivering end-to-end projects in Media & Entertainment Industry focused on video services and analytics, data monetization, advertising, content management, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the OTT, Video Services, along with knowledge of tool capabilities, features, and functionalities.
- In-depth understanding of the value chain behind Media content supply chain, from Content Planning to Project Distribution.
- Deep expertise in Video Product engineering, exposure to Accenture video solutions is an added advantage, etc.
- Prior experience in top consulting firms on M&E engagements preferred.
- Good knowledge and experience of digital, analytical, automation use cases.
- Experience in large data analysis, data-driven consulting, BI and analytics, reporting, dashboarding, visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau.
- Direct onsite experience (i.e., experience of facing client inside client offices in India or abroad). Please note we are looking for client-facing soft skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain great working relations with clients and other stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and communicate with Business and IT, with respect to people, process, and technological impacts.
