This role is for hiring an Associate for the Repo Technology team in Hyderabad. Repo Technology is a front office team which works closely with Repo Trading and Sales desks globally providing digital solution to business problems. It is part of the wider Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities (FICC) group and works closely with other business units.

The team is currently taking up initiatives for building new and innovative solutions in addition to re-engineering our existing trading systems and applications. We also have a deep pipeline of business driven project requests aimed at automating trading/sales workflows and increasing our competitive advantage with our clients.

Your Impact

The team is looking to expand in Hyderabad to work on initiatives for building new and innovative solutions for Repo strategic upliftment. You will be working closely with multiple engineering teams front to back to help design and build various front office foundational services. You will work with some of the best minds in the industry and get an opportunity to interact with various engineering teams across the globe to achieve common goals.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled back-end developer with strong communication skills to join our team and help work on key initiatives. We expect you to be a self-starter and eager to solve complex problems with guidance from senior members in the team. Our team promotes a culture of innovation and creative thinking to build modern robust systems. Effectively meeting the demands of our challenging mandate requires a passion for learning as well as deep understanding and experience across a wide array of technical competencies.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Minimum 3 year of experience in software development
• A solid understanding of object orientated programming skills (Java or any other OO technology) including data structures and algorithms
• Sound SDLC practices and ability to debug and troubleshoot problems
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
• Experience collaborating in global teams and possesses strong interpersonal skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git, awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice
• Knowledge of Financial Services – Trade models and product knowledge are added advantage
