Eligibility

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Graduate (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of work experience
  
  

Technical

• Good understanding of drawing information and approved documents
• Ability to execute instructions and mark-ups under minimal supervision
• Ability to incorporate information from drawings of other disciplines
  
  

Documentation & Process Knowledge

• Knowledge of RIBA Stages of Work / Design stages
• Understanding of interdisciplinary coordination
  
  

Project Administration

• Good understanding of planning submission requirements
• Ability to assist seniors in producing required documents and drawings
• Ability to locate sources of information and conduct additional research as instructed
• Awareness of standards and ability to analyze and understand documents
• Assist seniors with compliance
• Understands design requirements and roles of consultants/contractors
• Awareness of local planning authority procedures
• Assist in feasibility studies and documentation
• Develop concept design options under supervision
• Assist in estimating hours per drawing
• Take minutes of setup meetings
• Produce area/accommodation schedules
• Continue developing project administration knowledge
  
  

Project Tools

• Revit: 3D coordinated modeling
• Use of component libraries and parametric components
• Organizing views, using templates, publishing, coloring, 2D detailing
• Work sets, automated schedules, legends
• Advanced level preferred with Autodesk certification
  
  

Other Tools

• Basic knowledge of Navisworks
• Awareness of Dynamo, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape
• Architecture, Construction & Technology:
• Can read and address client mark-ups with minimal supervision
• Self-check and cross-check mark-up incorporation
• Good knowledge of construction materials and their uses
• Proactive in researching and learning about materials
• Continues to develop material knowledge through project work
  
  

General

• Ability to read and understand drawings, orientations, and content
• Ability to produce detailed drawings under supervision
• Ability to interrogate drawing information and produce accurate outputs
• Ability to annotate drawings with proper notes and specifications.
• Develops knowledge of different packages and their uses.
• Able to interrogate information within packages.
