About The Role

Were seeking a skilled Android Framework Architect to join our team. As an Android Framework Developer, youll design and develop Android framework components and services for automotive platforms.

What You Will Do

• Headless Service Development: Design and develop headless services for communication components.
• AIDL Interface Development: Design and develop AIDL interfaces between UI and headless applications.
• Android Framework Development: Design and develop Android framework components and HAL services for automotive platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Measure and optimize component performance to meet automotive KPIs.
• Collaboration: Work with user concept teams to bring product-based design concepts and with multi-location teams to integrate customer-centric Android apps.
• Full Stack Development: Perform full-stack Android development, including learning and adapting to new technologies.
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• Android Framework Experience: 9 to 12 years of experience in Android framework and services development.
• AOSP/AAOS Expertise: Solid expertise in AOSP, AAOS, and Android framework and services.
• Multimedia Experience: Experience with multimedia services, including audio and video.
• AIDL Interface Design: Experience with AIDL interface design and implementation.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C++, Java, Kotlin, and Linux.
  
  

Bonus Points if You Have

• Automotive Experience: Experience with automotive-grade Android platforms.
• Automotive Protocols: Knowledge of automotive protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Other Programming Languages: Familiarity with other programming languages like Python or C#.
• Android Certification: Certification in Android or related technologies.
