Job Description
Join Nokia as a NLT Test Architect and be at the forefront of 5G technology! In this role, you will integrate and validate end-to-end solutions across multiple network elements, including 5G Small Cells, Core Network, and Cloud-based EMS.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- You’ll lead the validation of our Small Cells solution, conducting functional testing, call processing, and automation efforts while ensuring system upgrades and backward compatibility.
- You will critically review customer requirements and high-level designs to ensure comprehensive test planning and validation coverage.
- You will design and execute testing strategies for new features and regression testing of previous releases to maintain product quality.
- You will accelerate automation efforts to enhance regression test coverage and improve the efficiency of the testing process.
- You will monitor test execution progress closely, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld throughout the process.
- You will lead the debugging of complex issues, leveraging your problem-solving skills to resolve challenges in lab and customer environments.
- You will perform rigorous requirement analysis, risk assessments, and detailed test planning to mitigate verification risks effectively.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in engineering (Electronics & Communications; Computer Science, EEE) with 10+ years of relevant wireless domain experience
- Strong understanding of O-RAN Alliance specifications (especially O1, R1 interfaces)
- Familiarity with Near-RT RIC and Non-RT RIC functions, SMO (Service Management and Orchestration)
- Ability to read, write, and validate YANG models and knowledge of how YANG models are used to represent network configuration/state
- Hands-on with NETCONF/RESTCONF protocols for configuration management
- Good knowledge & proven experience in 5G domain with sound FCAPS and networking background
It would be nice if you also had:
- Good knowledge in NEs like SeGW, AAA and PKI interfaces with experience in providing customized solutions for N/W certificate management
- Hands-on experience in various protocol analyzers and tools like QxDM, QCAT
- Expert level of expertise with Robot automation framework and Python script expertise is a plus
