Test Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TOSCA.
• Create, develop, and execute automated test cases to ensure functionality, performance, and integration of applications.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Maintain and optimize existing test scripts and regression suites.
• Implement and manage Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) for efficient test execution across multiple environments.
• Lead Tosca upgrades to ensure compatibility and access to the latest features.
• Create detailed test plans and test case documentation; track defects using qTest, JIRA, ALM, or ADO.
• Conduct API testing, validating request/response data, authentication, error handling, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure robust testing coverage.
• Support and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in TOSCA automation framework and testing tools (qTest, JIRA, ALM, ADO).
• Strong knowledge of automated testing practices and CI/CD integration.
• Experience in API testing and validating web services.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
