About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on multiple product development projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the UK and North America. This role requires a self-starter who can help build and establish standards and processes for documentation and control in accordance with ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer success teams to create comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, regulations, standards, and technical specifications for equipment.
• Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation that meets the needs of our diverse user base.
• Establish and implement documentation standards and processes to ensure consistency and quality across all technical documents.
• Ensure all documentation complies with ISO 9001 standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documentation.
• Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Review and edit content created by other team members to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and implement best practices in technical writing and documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and experience in implementing documentation processes in compliance with these standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks, as well as experience using AI tools for content generation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in different geographical locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AI Technical Writing Certification Course
• Experience working in a global team environment.
• Familiarity with product development processes and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Certification in Technical Writing or related fields.
• Experience with multimedia content creation (e.g., video tutorials, interactive guides).
