Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain performance and security of computer systems and networks.
• Configure and install new operating systems as well as hardware equipment.
• Carry out backups and ensure that system data is protected and recoverable.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics tests.
• Develop and document system administration policies and security protocols.
• Collaborate with IT team on network management and optimization strategies.
• Manage user accounts, credentials, and permissions across all networks.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend necessary IT improvements or upgrades.
• Respond promptly to network, computer, and application support requests.
• Plan and execute system upgrade and patch management activities.
• Oversee installation and management of security policies and software updates.
• Ensure compliance with IT best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role for two years.
• Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to resolve complex issues.
• Experience managing network infrastructure and support systems.
• Certifications in CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft are preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines efficiently.
