Job Description

As an HR Officer, you will play a critical role in managing and developing a company's greatest asset—its people. You will be tasked with overseeing various aspects of human resources practices and processes. Your role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, maintaining staff morale, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will work closely with teams across departments to implement HR initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals. Your duties will span recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and data management. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure timely hiring.
  • Develop and update job descriptions to align with current organizational needs.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures and ensure consistent application across the company.
  • Monitor HR metrics and maintain accurate employee records for reporting purposes.
  • Plan and conduct onboarding programs to help new employees transition smoothly.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing grievances and resolving workplace issues.
  • Organize performance review sessions and provide training to managers on evaluation techniques.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skill sets and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and conduct regular audits.
  • Advise and support employees with concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop appropriate strategies.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee issues and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as an HR officer or in a similar human resources role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations applicable to the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive employee matters.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and have strong Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
