Job Description

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, embodying the welcoming spirit of our establishment. You will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks to ensure seamless operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall function of the front desk area. Your role will include greeting guests, handling reservations, and addressing inquiries, ensuring a memorable stay or visit for every guest. Your professionalism, communication skills, and attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining a positive first impression of our facility and enhancing guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the facility with a friendly manner.
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage room reservations and cancellations according to established guidelines.
  • Provide information about facilities, services, and surrounding attractions.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area at all times.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues promptly.
  • Process payments and verify the accuracy of billing details and transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed for guest needs.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Assist in generating daily reports and compiling relevant data for management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security standards of the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and multi-line telephones.
